The petitioner states that he is qualified to be appointed as Village Revenue Assistant. It appears that one Kalakonda Venkulu who was working as Village Revenue Assistant of Yellapuram village, P.A. Palli Mandal, Nalgonda District, died on 05.01.2015 due to ill-health. The fifth respondent who is a relative of the deceased sought appointment in his place and a notice was issued on 18.05.2015 calling for objections from the objectors for her appointment. The petitioner instead of raising any objection sought for appointment by submitting a representation on 30.01.2015. When his representation was not considered, he filed the present Writ Petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the fifth respondent is not qualified and she is going to be appointed in the place of the deceased Village Revenue Assistant. He fairly admits that the process for recruitment of Village Revenue Assistant is by way of notification in case of non-availability of any persons for consideration under compassionate grounds.

As on today no notification was issued for filling up of the vacancy. If the fifth respondent's application is considered in the place of the deceased person on compassionate grounds, the petitioner can challenge the same as and when an order of appointment was issued. Without filing any objection to the notice issued by the Tahsildar while considering the case of the fifth respondent, the petitioner cannot independently seek consideration of his representation for appointment as Village Revenue Assistant.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition deserves to be dismissed and is, accordingly, dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
