HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.13832 OF 2018 ORDER:

The petitioners/A2 to A6 seek to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.712 of 2016 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bellampalli, Adilabad District, which was taken cognizance for the offence under Section 498-A r/w 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

Heard.

Since the matter is coming up before the trial court for framing of the charges, the petitioners are given liberty to appear before the trial court and seek their discharge taking the pleas that are legally permissible to them, in which case, the trial court shall pass an order on merits expeditiously. Having regard to the request made by the learned counsel for petitioners, the personal appearance of petitioners/A2 to A6 is dispensed with before the trial court except on the occasions when the trial court specifically requires their attendance.

Accordingly, with the above directions, this criminal petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
