THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 46913 of 2018 O R D E R :

The petitioner seeks grant of quarry lease for extraction of quartz and feldspar over an extent of 9.000 Hectares in Survey No. at Chedurupally Village, Veldanda Mandal Mandal, Mahaboobnagar District.

It is stated, the petitioner had made the Application on 19.04.2016 seeking grant of quarry lease. Learned Government Pleader for Mines & Geology, on instructions, submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer has granted 'No Objection Certificate' on 13.06.2006, confirming the recommendations of the Mandal Revenue Officer and further, the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology had also recommended for grant of quarry lease in favour of the petitioner. Now what all required to be done is, the Director of Mines and Geology, the 2nd respondent herein, who is the Competent Authority has to pass final orders. Considering the said submission and also considering the fact that the Assistant Director of Mines & Geology had made recommendations, the 2nd respondent / Competent Authority shall pass necessary orders within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the said order, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
