Heard Sri A.V.V.S.N.Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri M. Ravindra, Standing Counsel for APEPDCL. This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission for electrical service connection to the bore well in the agricultural fields of the petitioner.
It is the case of the petitioner that he has obtained a "No Objection Certificate" from the Tahsildar for digging a bore well in his agricultural field on 7.7.2017 and the ground water department has also given a clearance for digging a bore well in the agricultural fields of the petitioner on 20.9.2016; and he has submitted a representation on 6.11.2017 to the respondents 2 to 4 requesting to grant electrical service connection; but, the respondents 2 to 4 have not acted on the said representation submitted by the petitioner.
Considering the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents 2 to 4 to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 6.11.2017 by duly taking into consideration the "No objection Certificate" issued by the Tahsildar and the clearance given by the Ground Water Department, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
