Crl.P.M.P.Nos. 13209 and 13208 of 2017 These two Petitions are filed seeking leave of this Court to compound the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and to record compromise in C.C. No.383 of 2012 pending on the file of XV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchel, as the matter is settled as they entered into a Settlement Deed due to invention of elders and well wishers.
De facto complaint and the accused are present in person and they are identified by their respective counsel and they also produced the copies of Aadhar Cards in proof of their identity. When the terms and conditions of the Settlement Deed are explained to the parties, the de facto complainant stated that she received Rs.12,00,000/ - ( Rupees Twelve lakhs) while agreeing to receive Rs.6,00,000/ - (Rupees Six Lakhs) after disposal of the divorce case and the compromise is voluntary. As the dispute is settled in terms of the settlement deed and it is voluntary, which is not against the society, and for the benefit of both parties, the parties are permitted to compound the said offences.
Accordingly, these two Petitions are allowed permitting the parties to compound the said offences.
Cr l.P.No.1 1 9 1 8 of 2 0 1 7 In view of the Orders passed in Crl.P.M.P.Nos. 13209 and 13208 of 2017, this Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in CC No.383 of 2012 pending on the file of XV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchel, are hereby quashed. The Registry is directed to annex a copy of the Settlement Deed to the present petition. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this case, shall stand dismissed.
