Petition filed under Sections 437 & 439 of Cr.P.C. praying that in the circumstances stated in the Grounds of Criminal Petition, the High Court may be pleased to grant bail to the petitioner/Accused 6 in Crime No. 152 of 2017 of Ongole II Town Police Station, on the file of District & Sessions Judge, Ongole, Prakasam District.
The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the memorandum of grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Sri Jagajjivan Ram, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Addl. Public Prosecutor(AP) on behalf of Respondent-State, the Court made the following ORDER :- "This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/A.6 under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. for grant of bail to him in Crime No.152 of 2017 of Ongole II Town Police Station, Prakasam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 302, 364, 379, 212, 201 read with 34 I.P.C.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/A.6, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State and perused the record. 3.
During the course of submissions made by the learned counsel for both the sides, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the specific allegations against the petitioner/A.6 is that he has harboured A.1 to A.3 at Markapur. The same has come to light during the confessions made by accused Nos.1 and 2 in this crime. The petitioner/A.6 was remanded to judicial custody on 06.07.2017.

Having regard to the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner/A.6, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A.6 under Section 439 Cr.P.C.

Accordingly, the petitioner/A.6 is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties in a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Ongole. After being released on bail, the petitioner/A.6 shall report before the Station House Officer, Ongole II Town Police Station, Prakasam District, on every Sunday between 08.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., till filing of the charge sheet. 6.
Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is allowed. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed."
