O R D E R
Petitioner in this writ petition challenges the proceedings dated 19.05.2018 keeping him under suspension.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was placed under suspension on the ground that he was detained by police for more than forty eight hours. He submits that the suspension orders are liable to be reviewed at the end of six months, but the respondents in spite of lapse of more than six months, have not reviewed the same. He further submits that petitioner made a representation to the respondent No.3 - Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Paraja Parishad, Karimnagar, Karimnagar District, on 19.11.2018, seeking to revoke the suspension, but he has not passed any orders till date. Therefore, the learned counsel submits that writ petition may be disposed of directing the respondent No.3 to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner.
Learned Government Pleader for Services - II, on instructions, submits that the case of the petitioner will be reviewed and appropriate orders will be passed on the representation submitted by the petitioner.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel, without expressing any opinion on merits, writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the representation stated to have been made by the petitioner on 19-11-2018, and pass appropriate orders in
accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
