THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.43772 of 2017 ORDER:

The petitioner joined the service as a Field Assistant in Velidenda Gram Panchayat of Lingala Mandal in the year 2006. She was also issued appreciation certificate for her services. However, she was kept under suspension by proceedings dated 19.12.2014 on the allegation that she misappropriated funds to the tune of Rs.4,62,766/-. After the enquiry, her services were terminated by proceedings dated 31.03.2016. She preferred an appeal to the District Collector on 28.05.2016 and when the appeal was not disposed of, the present Writ Petition is filed. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the appeal has not yet been disposed of.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider the appeal of the petitioner filed on 28.05.2016 against the order of the fourth respondent dated 31.03.2016 as expeditiously as possible and pass final orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________________ (A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J) 21.12.2017 vs
