M/S Goel Enterprises, v. The State Of Telangana

THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.43310 of 2017 When the matter is taken up, written instructions, dated 27.12.2017, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Mahankali Police Station, Hyderabad, are placed on record. The said instructions read as under:

"Accordingly, after conducting enquiry into the matter (since the petitioner sent the complaint through post), a case in Cr.No.231/2017 U/secs.420, 406 IPC dated 22.12.2017 was registered on the file of Mahankali Police Station, Hyderabad against the unofficial respondents 5 and 6 herein and taken up the investigation into the case.

The investigation is at the initial stage. Necessary steps will be taken against the concerned accused who are the unofficial respondents 5 and 6 herein depending on the evidence adduced during the course of investigation into the case.

I humbly submit that I assure to this Hon'ble Court that the investigation will be completed as expeditiously as possible and an appropriate report will be filed before the concerned Hon'ble Court by following the due procedure.

It is pertinent to submit that action was taken on the complaint of the petitioner herein by way of registration of the above FIR. The delay in taking action on the complaint of the petitioner herein is neither wilful nor wanton".

In view of the registration of the crime, as stated supra in the written instructions, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the above written instructions. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________ A.V.SESHA SAI 22nd January, 2018.
