ORDER:

The vehicle i.e., Auto bearing registration No.AP-36-TA-1236 was seized on the allegation that unauthorizedly petitioner was transporting PDS rice. Praying to release the vehicle, petitioner claimed to have submitted application to the Joint Collector (2nd respondent) on 18.12.2012. Alleging inaction on the application submitted by petitioner, this Writ Petition is filed. 2.

Learned counsel for petitioner seeks direction to the Joint Collector to dispose of the application filed by him. 3.

Having regard to the same and without entering into the merits of the case, Writ Petition is dismissed directing the Joint Collector to pass appropriate orders on the application submitted by petitioner on 18.12.2018 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
