THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.39709 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioners' case for appointment on contract basis as per the merit obtained in the selection process, as per the orders of this Court in W.V.M.P.No.1015 of 2014 in W.P.No.38060 of 2013 and batch, dated 15.09.2015. When the Writ Petition is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader submits that the above batch of cases arose out of the orders passed by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, and the present Writ Petition is not maintainable. The present matter relates to appointment of the petitioners on contract basis and the same can be entertained by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal and as rightly pointed out by the learned Government Pleader, the present Writ Petition is not maintainable.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed at the admission stage leaving it open to the petitioners to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. The miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
