O R D E R

Aggrieved by the endorsement dated 30.10.2018 made through Mee-Seva, vide transaction I.D. TARMU011801542685 and application No. RMU011801542685, in rejecting the claim of the petitioner for mutation of his name in the revenue records, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Impugned endorsement does not disclose that before rejecting the claim of the petitioner, any notice was issued giving him opportunity and further no reasons have been assigned. This amounts to violation of principles of natural justice. On this ground alone, impugned endorsement is liable to be set aside and accordingly set aside, and the matter is remitted back to the 3rd respondent - Tahsildar, to reconsider the claim of the petitioner afresh and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving notice and opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
