HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.40953 OF 2017 O R D E R :

The case of the petitioner is that he is the resident of Kokatam Village, Kamalapuram Mandal, YCR Cudappah district; that he is aged about 68 years; and that he is one of the beneficiaries under Old Age pension scheme introduced by the State of Andhra Pradesh to help the poor people in difficult situation, by which the old aged people will get pension of Rs.1,000/- instead of Rs.200/- w.e.f.03.09.2014. The petitioner was getting old aged pension since last three years and his pension ID No.437633. While so, from April 2016 the petitioner was stopped pension without issuing any notice. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that without any reason, petitioner's pension was stopped. On the other hand Sri G.

Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent submits that when it came to the notice of the Government that without any valid documents pensions were granted, G.O.Ms.No.135, dated 17.09.2014 was issued for verification of the documents and that if petitioner satisfy the conditions laid down in the said G.O, petitioner's case will be considered.

In view of the above, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the case of the petitioner in terms of G.O.Ms.No.135, dated 17.09.2014 and take action accordingly. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
