THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.12518 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) to quash the proceedings in Crime No.1262 of 2017 of Madhapur (Guttala) P.S., Cyberabad, filed for the offences punishable under Sections 448 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, on various grounds but the counsel for the petitioner-accused requested to issue directions to the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C.

Without touching the merits of the case and acceding to the request of the counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v.
