This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ A.1 for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in Crime No.21 of 2014 on the file of the Malkipuram Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under 417, 420, 354, 323, 493, 506 read with 34 of I.P.C., Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. 2 .

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner/ A.1 has not filed similar bail application before the Court of Sessions. Under these circumstances, it is not appropriate to deal with this application by this Court. The petitioner/ A.1 is at liberty to file similar bail application before the Court of Sessions, if he so chooses. 3 .

With the above observation, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
