HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 39833 of 2017 Order:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the circular dated 18.11.2017 issued by the fourth respondent directly calling the employees for interview under the Revised Promotion Policy without preparing the seniority list or separating the reserved posts and without communicating the revised promotion policy.

This Court, while taking the mater on 24.11.2017, allowed the interviews to go on, but no promotions shall be effected pursuant to the interviews.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent submits that the Circular dated 18.11.2017 was found to be not in order and in those circumstances it is decided to withdraw the said circular and promote the persons by following due process of law.

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary except recording the statement of the fourth respondent. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
