Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in laying the road through the land of the petitioners without following the procedure and paying compensation under the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition and Resettlement Act, 2013 the present writ petition has been filed.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition, on instructions, would submit that respondents will not interfere with the possession of the petitioners and that they will follow due procedure established under law before laying the road through the subject land of the petitioners.
Recording the above statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to interfere with the possession of the petitioners over the subjec t land without following the due process of law. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
