G. Ponnumani v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.47595 of 2018 ORDER:
1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the first respondent in not passing orders in the revision filed by the petitioner in Memo No.9422/ M.1(i)/ 2016-4, dated 21.06.2018 against the demand notice issued by the third respondent vide notice No.451/ Q/ VG/ V&E-TPT/ 2016 dated 22.05.2018 as illegal and arbitrary.
2) Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the authorities to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner at the earliest.
3) Learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology would submit that if the revision is filed by the petitioner and the same is pending, a direction may be given to the authorities to dispose of the revision.
4) Having regard to the above, the authorities concerned shall dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner against the demand notice dated 22.05.2018, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. However, if there is an application for stay is made, the same shall be dealt with in
accordance with law, preferably, within a period of ten days from today.
5) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
