This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not mutating the names of the petitioners in revenue records in respect of land to an extent of Ac.1-82 cents, in Survey No.702/2 situated at Surappakasam Village, Renigunta Mandal, Chittoor District, as arbitrary and illegal.

Though the petitioners did not file proper application in accordance with the provisions of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, they filed writ petition. They state that they submitted an application on 26.12.2017 by paying requisite fee.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider the said application and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
