HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.42991 OF 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of respondent authorities in deleting the petitioners' names from the list of Social Security Pension Scheme, as illegal and arbitrary.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri G. Seshadri, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.5.
3. Sri Ravi Chimalapati, learned counsel, takes notice for respondent Nos.6 and 7.
4. It is represented by the learned counsel for parties that in similar circumstances, this Court disposed of W.P.No.22187 of 2016 on 12.07.2016 and this Writ Petition can also be disposed of in terms of the orders passed in the said Writ Petition.
5. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is also disposed of directing respondent No.5 to communicate the reasons in writing to the petitioners within fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, as to why and in what circumstances the pension which was being paid to the petitioners till April, 2014 has been stopped. On such communication to the petitioners, the petitioners may approach the appellate authority - MPDO Committee and the MPDO Committee, in turn, shall consider the objections and material on record and restore the pension to the petitioners, if they are
otherwise eligible, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of appeal being filed.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. __________________________ A. RAJASHEKER REDDY, J December 18, 2017 Note: Issue C.C. in three days.
