Petitioner claims to be the owner and in possession of agricultural land to an extent of Acs.5.30 guntas in Sy.No.31/A of Ambugaon village, Tamsi Mandal, Adilabad district. According to petitioner, in the year 1992 suo-motu proceedings were initiated under Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Area Land Transfer Regulation, 1959 (APSALTR) alleging that his father purchased the land from 5th respondent and the same was hit by the provisions of APSALTR. The original authority passed orders on 03.01.2013 ordering ejectment of petitioner from the suit land. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner claims to have preferred appeal in July, 2015. Alleging inaction on the part of Additional Agent to Government in considering the appeal and passing orders, this writ petition is filed. 2.
In Exhibit P1-photocopy of the appeal, the stamp appended at the bottom of first page is not clear as to whether such appeal was received by the Additional Agent to the Government and the same is pending before him.

However, without entering into the merits of the case, Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Additional Agent to the Government (2nd respondent) to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, if the same is received by him and pending till date, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
