Dheeraj Singh, Advocate for the Petitioners and the Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent No.1 and of Sri Gopala Krishna Kalanidhi, Advocate for the Respondent No.2.

THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K. LAKSHMAN CRIMINAL PETITION No.14O84 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.393 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bhadrachalam, Khammam District. The petitioners are accused Nos.1 to 3 in the above said case. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 498-A, 406 and 506 of IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

Heard Sri R.Dheeraj Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Gopala Krishna Kalanidhi, learned counsel for respondent No.2 and learned Public Prosecutor. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners u,ou1d submit that though he filed the present petition to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.393 of 20 18, he is restricting the relief of a direction to the Court belol,', to decide the said CC as expeditiously as possible by fixing some time. 4.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 would submit that he has no objection for giving a direction to the Court below to decide the CC as expeditiously as possible by fixing some time.

Considering the above said submissions, and also the fact that CC is of the year 2018, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the learned Judicial First Class

Magistrate, Bhadrachalam, Khamrnam District to dispose of C.C.No.393 of 20 18 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on merits. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
