HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.41073 of 2017 ORDER:
The petitioners pray for the following relief :- " ... to pass a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus in denying permission orally and not in writing thereby not allowing Petitioners to approach for constitutional remedies in time for the National Convention of the Tribals to be held at Nizam College grounds on 9.12.2017 from 1.30 PM till 9.
30 PM to discuss the tribal's issues despite of making requisite payment of fee/ Challan and getting NOC by Nizam College Administration is highly arbitrary, totally illegal and completely unlawful besides being violative of Articles 14,19 of the Constitution of India consequently direct the respondent police to accord permission as prayed by the petitioners Association in their application to the 3rd respondent for the National Convention of the Tribals to be held by the Petitioners Association at Nizam college grounds on 9.12.2017 from 1.30 pm till 9.30 pm to discuss the tribal's issues and also direct the respondent police and their Subordinate Police Officers at District level not to prevent or create hurdles and panic atmosphere for those attending the said convention by the petitioners Association to be held on 9.12.2017....."
The Assistant Government Pleader (Home) places on record the proceedings No.1514/ Permission/ DCP-LBNR/ RCK/ 2017 dated 06.12.2017 issued by the 3rd respondent. After going through the proceedings, dated 06.12.2017, counsel for petitioners does not press the writ prayer.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as not pressed. No order as to costs.
