Lingala Sunila, v. The State Of Telangana,
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WP.No.41676 of 2017 ORDER:
Heard counsel for petitioner and the Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.
2.
Petitioner's grievance is that 3rd respondent is not disposing of the petitioner's application filed under Section 9A of the A.P. Land Reforms (Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) Act, 1973 (for short 'the Act') which had been made to him on 12.09.2017.
3.
Since such applications are maintainable in view of the said provision introduced by amending the Act by Act 17 of 2012 introduced on 12.05.2012 with retrospective effect, which legal position is not disputed by the Government Pleader for Revenue, the 3rd respondent is directed to decide the petitioner's application within a period of four (04) months from today, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all affected parties.
4.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 5.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
