This Writ Petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the case of the petitioner for reinstatement to the post of Contract Junior Lecturer in Zone-V in the existing vacancies of teaching of Commercial Garment Technology (Vocational) Course in spite of the representations made by the petitioner and in pursuance of the Memo dated 19.06.2018 issued by the third respondent as illegal and arbitrary and sought a consequential direction to the respondents to reinstate the petitioner as Contract Lecturer in Zone-V for Commercial Garment Technology (Vocational) Course. Sarat the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services-I It has been contended by the petitioner that she is fully eligible and qualified to be appointed as Fashion Garment Making/Commercial Garment Technology. The case of the petitioner is that she was appointed initially as part time lecturer during the year 1996 and subsequently the nature of employment has been changed to that of Contract Lecturer and that the petitioner has been discharging her duties to the best satisfaction of the superiors and the officials concerned. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents have discontinued the course of Fashion Garment Making and are continuing Commercial Garment Technology (Vocational) Course in Karimnagar district.

and Commercial Garment Technology students and since the respondents are continuing Commercial Garment Technology course, the case of the petitioner can be considered for appointment as Contract Lecturer. The petitioner contends that the services of the petitioner were disengaged during the year 2017 on the ground that Fashion Garment Making (Vocational) Course has been discontinued in Karimnagar District. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents on 12.5.2018 and further contends that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the case of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, this court is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 12.5.2018 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
