It is the case of the petitioner that he is absolute owner and possessor of agricultural lands to an extent of Acs.17.86 cents in Sy.No.389, Mutyalapadu Village, Lingasamudram Mandal, Prakasam District, having purchased the same under registered sale deed dated 31.07.2008 from its original owner; that the subject land was given to the father of the vendor of the petitioner under settlement order dated 14.06.1970 and thereafter his name was mutated in revenue records and as per the family settlement, the subject land fell to the share of his vendor vide registered partition dated 09.09.2002. Pursuant to the purchase of subject land by the petitioner, his name was mutated in revenue records and issued pattadar pass book and title deed in favour of the petitioner.

While so, he came to know that the subject lands are included in the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A of the Registration Act by the 2nd respondent. As such, he made representation dated 26.11.2018 to the 2nd respondent. As no action is being taken, present Writ Petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the subject land is purchased by him under registered sale deed, the

same is included in the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A of the Registration.

Since, the representation of the petitioner dated 26.11.2018 is stated to be pending before the 2nd respondent, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
