The Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner complaining against the inaction of the respondents in accepting and processing the application of the petitioner for granting the fitness certificate for the vehicle of the petitioner bearing No.TS 15UA 2796 in spite of repeated requests and the petitioner complying with the requirements in all respects. 2.

I have heard the submissions of Sri B. Muralidhar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Transport appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

Having regard to the facts and submissions, the Writ Petition is allowed directing the respondent authorities to allow the petitioner forthwith to submit his application through online and then process the same, as expeditiously as possible, and complete the testing formalities within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that the respondent authorities may take action against the petitioner for furnishing the alleged fake address and getting his vehicle registered, in acocrdance with law.

There shall be no order as to costs.
