Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not issuing dispatch permits to the petitioner and also blocking the email account of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the show cause notice dated 14.03.2018, the petitioner submitted his explanation on 11.05.2018. However, no order has been passed by the respondents till date. 4.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to pass appropriate orders, pursuant to the show cause notice dated 14.03.2018 and explanation dated 11.05.2018, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

If no order is passed within the prescribed time, the respondents authorities shall consider releasing dispatch permits to the petitioner, in accordance with law.
