Aggrieved by the inaction of the 1st respondent - State of Telangana, represented by its Principal Secretary, Panchayat Raj Department, in disposing of the appeal filed by the petitioners on 6.9.2017, in pursuance of the resolution of the 3rd respondent - Gram Panchayat dated 19.12.2016, the present writ petition came to be filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri A.Sudarshan Reddy, learned Senior Counsel for respondents 5 and 6, Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj for respondents 1 and 2, Sri G.Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.3 and Government Pleader for Industries for respondent No.4 Since the appeal is stated to be pending before the 1st respondent, the said respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
