THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.12315 OF 2017 ORDER:

The present petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'the Code'), requesting to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.282 of 2017 pending on the file of the Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Ananthapuramu. Sri K. Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioners, though, initially argued to quash the proceedings in the aforesaid Calender Case, makes a request to direct the police to follow the guidelines laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma & others v. State of U.P1.

Acceding to the said request, the police concerned are directed to follow the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P (referred supra).

With the aforesaid direction, the present Criminal Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this petition, stand closed.
