When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that respondent No.2 issued impugned tender notification dated 22.12.2018 inviting tenders from the reputed recognized firms for supply of the material as mentioned in the tender notification for the academic year 2018-19. The contract period is already expired and the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
