Counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 02.01.2019, this Court was pleased to grant interim direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion, and in pursuance thereof, the respondents have considered the case of the petitioner and rejected the same vide proceedings dated 06.08.2019, therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. In view of the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
