HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.48099 of 2018 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of respondents in not granting 12 years stagnation increments with effect from the date of completion of 12 years and arrears thereof to the petitioner in pursuance of Circular dated 04.06.2005.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

It has been contended by the petitioner that the petitioner has submitted representations to the respondents seeking release of stagnation increments, on 27.01.2018 and 28.02.2018, and so far, the respondents have not passed any orders on the said representations. Therefore, the counsel appearing for petitioner contend that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to sanction and release the stagnation increments to the petitioner.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondentCorporation contend that the case of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on the representations submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law. In view of above said submissions made by the parties, this Court is of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of

directing the respondents to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
