The petitioners are accused 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8 in C.C.No.846 of 2010 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, taken cognisance for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A) IPC, and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Accused No.4 representing Accused No.1 as General Power of Attorney (GPA) holder with Original GPA filed is allowed and permitted. Accused No.5 representing A1 besides herself individually and along with Accused Nos.2, 3, 7 and 8 are present; and the defacto complainant is also present.

Both the parties stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and entered into Memorandum of Understanding and sought permission vide Crl.M.P.No.12936 of 2017 to compromise the matter. In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences.

In the result, the Crl.M.P.No.12936 of 2017 is allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.846 of 2010 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, against the petitioners/A.1, A2, A3, A5, A7 and A8, and they are acquitted. Their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
