HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.GANGA RAO Writ Petition No.42253 of 2017 Order: (per V.Ramasubramanian, J.) The petitioners have come up with the above writ petition, challenging the dismissal of their original application by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad.

2. Heard Mr. P.V. Ramana, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Services-I (Andhra Pradesh) appearing for the respondents.

3. The writ petitioners filed an appeal/representation on 11-3-2017 to the Government, as against the orders passed by the Director of Medical Education rejecting their claim for continuation along with the posts in the Government Medical College and Teaching Hospital at Nellore. The said appeal was not disposed of by the Government within time forcing the petitioners to move the Tribunal with an application in O.A.No.2689 of 2017. But this application was dismissed by the Tribunal by an order dated 20-9-2017 on the short ground that the Tribunal cannot hassle the Government into passing orders on the appeal within a time frame. Therefore, the petitioners are before this Court.

4. After we ordered notice in the above writ petition directing the learned Government Pleader to find out the fate of the appeal, the Government have passed orders on the appeal in Memo No.887012/A2/2017, dated 19-12-2017,

rejecting the appeal/representation.

Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioners to challenge the order of the Government dated 19-12-2017. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
