HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 42999 OF 2017 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 1 & 2 in not mutating the petitioner's name in the Panchayat Records relating to the petitioner's house, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri G.Seshadri, learned Standing Counsel for 1st respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that after death of her husband on 10.07.2012, she made representations dated 12.04.2017 and 27.05.2017 for mutation of her name in panchayat records, along with related documents standing on her name relating to house bearing No.1-186, Gajulapalli Village, Govindareddypalli Gram Panchayat, Thavanampalli Mandal, Chittoor District, but no action is being taken on the said representations. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representations dated 12.04.2017 and 27.05.2017 in accordance with law.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
