- 2 - THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2676 OF 2017 ORDER :
W.P.No.26173 of 2017 was disposed of on 12.09.2017 directing the competent authority to examine the claim of the petitioner for conversion and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy the order. Alleging violation of the said direction, this contempt case is filed.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader produced copy of the endorsement dated 16.09.2017, whereunder the application submitted by the petitioner on 06.01.2015 for Land Conversion was rejected for the reasons mentioned therein. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the same is already displayed in the Website and without obtaining copy through Meeseva, this contempt is filed.

Since the direction was only to examine and pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner on 06.01.2015 and the order was already passed, it cannot be said that the respondents have violated the direction of this Court warranting initiation of contempt proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act. 4.
Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedies as available in law. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
