CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 12582 OF 2017 O R D E R :
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/A-1 under section 438 of Cr.P.C., seeking to enlarge him on bail in the event of his arrest in Crime No. 125 of 2017 of Gokavaram Police Station, Rajamahendravaram, East Godavari district, registered for the offences punishable under section 420 read with section 34 of IPC.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/A-1 and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State.
3. As per the complaint, the petitioner/A-1 collected amounts saying that he would supply gold and later on the gold which is supplied is found to be vague. Hence, from the facts of the case, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.
4. Apart from that; the learned Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is involved in 16 crimes. They are as follows :

5. Hence, based on the above statistics of crimes as submitted by the learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the Police are directed to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P1. 1 2017(2) ALT (Crl) 393 (SC)
6. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
