This Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed to quash the proceedings in Cr. No.419 of 2017 on the file of P.S. Keesara, Medchal, Malkajgiri District ( Judicial District Ranga Reddy), registered for the offences punishable under Sections 504 IPC and Section 3 (1) (r) of SCs and STs(POA) Act, 1989 ( amendment Act 1 of 2016). After arguing the matter for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioners, requested this Court to direct the concerned to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er 1 In view of the request made by the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the Police of Keesara, Medchal, Malkajgiri District, are directed to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er . With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
