HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 44407 of 2017 Order:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the orders passed by the fourth respondent dated 08.09.2017 cancelling the contracts of the petitioners as Field Assistants.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the Three Men Committee did not go into the reasons submitted by the petitioners and without considering their objections simply recommended their case for cancellation of contract even though they have achieved the requisite percentage of targets. He further submitted that the decision of the Three Men Committee is politically motivated. This requires investigation into facts.

However, since there is a provision for appeal, the petitioners are given liberty to prefer an appeal to the competent authority within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order bringing to the notice of the appellate authority with regard to material available with them and as and when the appeal is filed by the petitioners the appellate authority shall consider the material placed by the petitioners and pass a reasoned order after going into the merits of the case within a period of thirty (30) days thereafter. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
