This Writ Petition is filed assailing the action of the 3rd respondent in not referring the petitioners Award to the competent authority constituted under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 ( for short 'the Act') and Rules 2014.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for respondents.

Though the petitioners made an application on 08.09.2017 to the 3rd respondent under Section 64 of the Act for referring the matter to the competent authority for enhancement of compensation, same is not considered. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed.

In view of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider and refer the application of the petitioners under Section 64 of the Act, dated 08.09.2017 to the competent authority, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
