Heard counsel for petitioners and the Government Pleader for Assignment appearing for respondents. 2.

Petitioners'

grievance is that they had preferred an Appeal before the 3rd respondent on 08.12.2017 under Section 4 of the A.P. Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 challenging the order dt.21.01.2016 passed by the 4th respondent along with an application seeking stay of the said order and that the 3rd respondent is not disposing of the appeal as well as the stay application.

The Government Pleader for Assignment appearing for respondents states that the 3rd respondent will decide the said appeal within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioners.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to decide the appeal filed by the petitioners on 08.12.2017 within a period of three

(03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending disposal of the said appeal, there shall be stay of all

further proceedings pursuant to the order dt.21.01.2016 of the 4th respondent. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
