"This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of bail to the petitioner, who is accused No.3 in C.O.R. No.174 of 2016 on the file of Prohibition and Excise Station, Uppal. 2.
The offences alleged are under Section 8(c) R/w.22(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner was arrayed as accused, based on the confession of accused No.2 and that accused No.2 was already enlarged on bail by virtue of the orders of the learned Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Cyberabad, Ranga Reddy District at L.B. Nagar in Crl.M.P. No.2339 of 2017. Learned Public Prosecutor also does not refute the submission of the petitioner's counsel, that the petitioner also stands on the same footing as that of other accused. 5.
Hence, considering that the accused No.2, on whose confession the petitioner herein was arrayed as accused, was enlarged on bail, the Criminal Petition is allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner/accused No.3 is directed to be enlarged on bail, on condition of his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of
the Special Judicial First Class Magistrate Prohibition and Excise-cum-XII Metropolitan Magistrate at L.B. Nagar, Ranga Reddy district.
