THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.45235 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner Society, learned Government Pleader for Fisheries for respondents 1 to 4 and learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents 5 and 6. 2.

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents not to allow the non-members other than fishermen community to catch fish in the Ryalampadu Reservoir, while considering the Memo No.3230/C2/2017 dated 23.11.2017, issued by the 2nd respondent. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the 2nd respondent directed to stop fishing operations in Ryalampadu reservoir vide memo dated 23.11.2017, the land loosers are catching fish violating the said order.

The 3rd respondent filed counter-affidavit stating that the orders of the 2nd respondent have been implemented and that the conversion of Ryalampad reservoir from lease system to license system is under consideration.

In the light of the averments in the counter-affidavit and in view of the subsequent developments, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
