HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.24758 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners-accused to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.373 of 2016 of Malkajgiri Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences under Section 498-A I.P.C. and Sections, 3, 4 and 5 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State and perused the record.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the parties have compromised the subject matter of the crime. In view of the same, the petitioners can work out the remedies available to them under law to record compromise in the subject crime before the competent authority in accordance with law.

With the above observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
