Heard counsel for petitioners and the Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents.

Petitioners contend that they preferred an appeal before the 2nd respondent in the 1st week of November, 2017 challenging the rejection order dt.12.11.2017 of the 3rd respondent and that the 2nd respondent is not disposing of the same.

The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that the 2nd respondent will decide the said appeal within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioners.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioners. No costs. 5.

Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
