When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that in pursuance of the interlocutory order passed by this Court on 2.5.2003 the petitioners are being continued in service. The learned Counsel for the petitioners has not disputed the same. In view of the same, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
