1] On 15.01.2021 this Court continued interim protection granted by the Sessions Court on 15.12.2019 by noticing that on 22.12.2020 the Application was rejected. The protection continued till date and the Applicant was directed to report to the Investigating Officer as and when called for.

2] Today, the learned APP states that the Investigating Officer is not present and therefore she has no instructions. 1/2

(3)ABA-10-2021.doc 3] Considering the fact that offence pertains to the year 2020, two years down the line, the investigation is expected to be completed and in any case, since the Investigating Officer has not come forward seeking custodial interrogation, order dated 15.01.2021 is made absolute.
