Learned Counsel appearing for the applicant in Application No.2907 of 2003 submits that the prayer made in the petition was for completing the investigation at the earliest in a time bound manner in the light of section 131 of Cr.P.C. and filing of charge sheet. Accordingly, the charge sheet is already filed in the court and even the charges are framed and the trial is in process. In view of the same, nothing now survives in the petition. The petition is accordingly dismissed as being infructuous. The application also stands dismissed in view of the dismissal of the petition.
