Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for State.

This application is filed for condonation of delay in filing appeal through jail. The appellant/applicant herein is convicted for the offence punishable under section 302 read with sections 149 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to Life Imprisonment vide Judgment and Order dated 5/12/2019. The delay caused is 1 year and 196 days. Since the application is filed through jail and for the reasons assigned in the application, the application seeking condonation of delay deserves to be allowed. The application is allowed.
